Somerton Creative is a multidisciplinary design studio lead by Senior Creative Director, Jamie Somerton. Somerton Creative has been delivering award winning design for almost a decade, operating their studio in the vibrant Mimico Village located in Toronto. Their primary focus is working with clients through a one-on-one approach to provide expertise in brand, system, and creative design communication development.

Somerton Creative offers services a la carte and in monthly flat fee subscription packages. We believe in the recurring value of relational vs. transactional, providing serial transformations to continuously support your brand, the best solution for companies with on-going needs. We also offer a la carte project pricing for clients who best suite this model.

SENIOR CREATIVE DIRECTION

Jamie Somerton is a multidisciplinary Senior Creative Director, entrepreneur, & artist based in Toronto. With a diploma in Art and Design from George Brown College, he has had a successful career spanning over 15 years in the creative industry. In the 2010s, Jamie served as a Creative Director at various leading creative agencies before venturing out to establish his own independent studio, Somerton Creative, in 2016, together with his sister Felicia. Throughout his career, he’s had the opportunity to work on projects for Marvel, Nickelodeon, Shoppers Drug Mart, wayfinding design systems for over a dozen major Toronto commercial spaces (Cadillac Fairview, Brookfield, Allied), developed brand identity systems, experiential programming, & brand creative for several notable clients, including Carlsberg Canada, Molson Coors, Go Fresh, The Food District (Oxford Properties), Market & Co. (Oxford Properties) and more.
