The Clean Hands Challenge

The Clean Hands Challenge is an initiative that was launched in the summer of 2014 by media company, Germgo Media. The interactive event aimed to increase hand cleaning compliance and educate hospital visitors about the importance of proper hand hygiene practices.

The event concept was developed to include a hand sanitizer station with integrated digital counter, which would record and display results in real-time. Specific branding, marketing and PR strategies were launched to optimize the event performance and guest experience. Event assets included t-shirts, stickers, banners, promotional posters, signage, digital media kits, web, and social media. Activations were completed by trained hand cleaning event ambassadors.

This project was developed and managed by Jamie Somerton in the capacity of Creative Director for Germgo Media.
